Clearwater Paper’s Shelby, North Carolina-based consumer products facility, will invest $23m to increase facial tissue capacity

Clearwater Paper Corporation has announced it will invest $23m in a state-of-the-art facial tissue converting line at its Shelby, North Carolina-based consumer products facility.

The mill manufactures high-quality private branded bathroom tissue, paper towels, napkins, and facial tissue.

Michael Urlick, Clearwater Paper’s Senior Vice President of Consumer Products, said: “Our investment in a new facial tissue line will enable us to meet growing customer demand, further optimise our network and continue to deliver outstanding quality and service to our customers.”

Clearwater Paper is a supplier of private brand tissue to major retailers, including grocery, club, mass merchants, and discount stores.
